About Handcrafts Unlimited

Handcrafts Unlimited opened in 1983 and remains the oldest continuously operating business on the Georgetown Square. It's a non-profit cooperative where Williamson County artisans aged 50 and older display and sell handcrafted items-everything from quilts and needlework to custom creations. Run entirely by volunteers, the shop has never had paid staff. Artisans consign their work and take custom orders for quilting, embroidery, needlework, repairs, and new creations. The shop also hosts an annual Georgetown Quilt Show celebrating regional fiber arts. Located in a historic building on the Square, Handcrafts Unlimited serves as both a gift shop and a community gathering place, giving local senior artisans a retail outlet to sell their work and contribute to the community.
