DescriptionCen-Tex Mini Golf sits just north of Georgetown's municipal airport, an 18-hole course that locals call a hidden gem with backyard charm and real fun. The owner runs the place personally, and it shows. The design reflects genuine care for both the game and the grounds, with artificial turf greens, fairways carved around sand pits and water features, and wildlife-friendly pathways that earn quiet appreciation from repeat visitors. No minimum age or height requirements. If you can grip it, you can rip it. The course challenges seasoned golfers while staying entertaining for families playing their first round. Friday and Saturday nights after 5pm, Cen-Tex issues glowballs with all rounds (16 dollars, including tax), turning the course into a twilight experience under stars. The pro shop stocks snacks and beverages. An arcade keeps people entertained between rounds. Roscoe's Rangers, a club for kids 12 and under, welcomes the next generation of golfers. Event space is available for groups. Party pens accommodate up to 20 people each, bookable by the hour. The Oak room inside the clubhouse rents by the hour for 25 to 30 people, suitable for meetings or celebrations. The business welcomes BYOB on Friday and Saturday after 5pm (must be 21 or older, no glass). Monday through Thursday the course opens by private rental. Seasonal hours kick in mid-July through October 1st, shorter hours designed for the heat. Winter closure runs mid-December through early March.
