DescriptionPecan Street Station has fed Pflugerville since 2000, when it first opened as a neighborhood deli grill on Pecan Street. In 2016, after years of working in kitchens across the region, Paul Prestridge bought the place he was proud to eat at, committing to protect what worked rather than reinvent it: made-from-scratch food, prices that make sense, and a room that still feels like Pflugerville, not a franchise. Breakfast runs early with migas, breakfast tacos, pancakes, and eggs that fueled farmers and teachers through the day. Lunch and dinner center on hand-pattied, char-grilled burgers stacked tall, grilled sandwiches on checkered paper, chicken-fried steak with peppered cream gravy, and bowls of homemade soup. Everything comes with the little things done right, from the salad bar to the coffee that keeps coming.
