About Salt Kitchen

Salt Kitchen is a catering and meals-to-go service dedicated to serving outstanding farm-to-table cuisine while empowering youth offenders through culinary education. Part of the Jail to Jobs program, Salt Kitchen teaches job skills and interpersonal development alongside culinary training. Chef Felix, trained at Le Cordon Bleu and with experience cooking for U.S. Presidents, leads the program, bringing expertise developed through decades in professional hospitality.

Every Wednesday, Salt Kitchen offers pre-ordered family dinner pick-ups at three convenient locations across the Austin area: Cedar Park, North Austin, and South Austin. The company also provides full-service and buffet-style catering for corporate meetings, church gatherings, private parties, and special events. Menu options span breakfast, finger foods, salads, sandwiches, soups, entrees, and desserts.

Salt Kitchen believes in second chances. The name reflects salt's essential role in food and preserves the company's commitment to quality, community, and transforming lives through culinary arts.
