About Lincoln Chapel
Lincoln Chapel is a boutique, modern wedding chapel housed in a unique concrete structure designed by local architect Nicole Blair and built by contractor Erik Untersee. The building is a monolithic concrete pour with a trapezoidal shape that slopes gently downward, allowing guests standing outside to see the ceremony through the open pivot doors. The chapel seats 30 guests indoors on custom maple benches and can accommodate up to 50 with additional outdoor seating.
The venue is built to accommodate ceremonies, receptions, elopements, vow renewals, christenings, and celebrations of life. The fully concrete structure has a natural coolness inside and is designed as a sacred space for meaningful moments. Services include chapel rental, access to dressing rooms, and coordination with preferred vendors for music, florals, catering, and bartending.
The chapel has been recognized for its architectural merit, appearing on the cover of Texas Architect Magazine in 2020, receiving a Dezeen Awards longlist nomination in 2019, and being featured in publications including Texas Architecture and the International Religious Facilities Book.
