Founded by James Canali with his wife and co-creator Madia, the company brings together years of barista and catering expertise into a mission of creating joy and connection through coffee and community.
James' path into coffee started in 2004 as a barista, advancing through roles including Operations Manager, Regional Coffee Education Lead, and Project Manager of Training at the Seattle Starbucks Siren Retail Roastery & Café. There, he launched concepts including mixology bars and full kitchens, led teams in launching innovative training programs, and facilitated international training and leadership development. He later moved to Colorado, where he launched region-wide coffee education workshops and initiatives across neighborhood stores before forging a new path in Texas with Madia.
