Huahuasco Grill Mexican Cuisine is Pflugerville's destination for authentic regional Mexican food from Michoacán. Founded in 2018 by Bertha Leon, it was the first restaurant in Texas to focus exclusively on true regional Mexican cuisine from Mexico's interior culinary epicenter. The restaurant's simple décor provides an authentic backdrop for carefully prepared traditional dishes. The menu features hand-made corn and flour tortillas, chips made from scratch, signature appetizers like choriqueso (melted Oaxaca cheese with chorizo) and family-recipe queso dip, plus a full range of regional entrees, seafood, breakfast plates, and seasonal tamales. Customers order at the counter and take a seat for dine-in or quick pickup. Available for dine-in, pickup, catering, and online ordering. The kitchen sources authentic techniques and ingredients to represent Michoacán's culinary traditions.
