The Book Burrow

The Book Burrow is Pflugerville's only independent bookstore since 2021, serving as a community-centered safe space for all. The 750-square-foot storefront features new and pre-loved books carefully curated for the neighborhood.

Beyond books, they host regular in-store events including three monthly book clubs (Prost Book Club meeting at a local brewery for general non-fiction, West Pecan Book Club at a local cafe for cozy reads, and Book Burrow Book Club for general fiction), plus Queer Craft Night, Silent Book Club, and Witchy Happy Hour. They also offer Blind Date With A Book, a hand-wrapped curated selection where customers choose genres and receive a surprise personalized selection.

The business supports local makers through a non-book consignment program and indie authors through an author consignment program (requiring IngramSpark distribution). They sell merchandise through Bonfire and partner with Bookshop.org for online book sales, expanding access beyond their physical location.
